Capacity Building, Training & Project Identification a) Training workshop among the management and the technical people about Climate Change Negotiation, Market Mechanism (CDM, JI, Carbon Trading etc.) and opportunities for participations b) Awareness raising & capacity building materials development c) Participatory project identification process with the management / technical staffs B. CDM Project Due -diligence & Project Development a) Identification of potential projects for CDM participations b) Techno-commercial due-diligence of the identified projects to the most viable ones c) Project Idea Notes (PINs) and Project Design Documents (PDD) as per UNFCCC format d) Developing and approvals of new methodologies (if requires) for Baseline determination e) Development of Monitoring & Verification plan C. Institutional & Regulatory Approvals a) Facilitate approval by host country (India) by its Designated National Authority (DNA) b) Identification of Designated Operational Entity (DOE) for Project validation c) Facilitation of validation procedure with DOE d) Apply for Registration at UNFCCC â€“ CDM Executive Board e) Facilitate the Registration Procedure f) Identification of DOE for monitoring and verification g) Facilitation of yearly monitoring & verification procedure D. Carbon Selling / Trading Solutions a) Identification of suitable buyers of CERs (Certified Emission Reductions) b) Facilitation upfront contracting with the buyers for carbon off take c) Developing the Commercial Term Sheet & Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA) d) Develop attractive financial package along with the buyers to manage the upfront risk and investment for the project developers
