GENERAL INFORMATION

After completed a bachelors in Zoology from Delhi University, went on to pursue a Masters in Environmental Science from TERI. Worked in the area of Environment Impact Assessment with SGS India and GRC Limited and also been part of organizing teams for conferences (on environmental issues) while working with SEARCH Foundation and Indian Youth Climate Network. Winner of the National Science Talent Search Contest and the International Contest for Young People 2009 by GoI Peace Foundation and UNESCO. Worked with 350.org, the international climate movement as the Campaign Coordinator (for East India and Bangladesh) and coordinated the largest political demonstration in history on October 24th 2009 (with more than 350 actions across South East Asia region). Represented the Indian Youth movement as part of 350.org during the COP15 climate negotiations in December 2009. Recently selected as International Climate Champion by British Council and TERI. Currently working with India Carbon Outlook division of cKinetics in New Delhi.
