India CDM pipeline April report

In April, 277,151 CERs (approx US$5.2m) were issued to projects in India which came from 5 projects, 3 new projects were registered with an annual potential of generating 92,570 CERs.

CER Issuance
A total of 277,151 CERs (approx value of 3.7m Euros or US$ 5.2m based on the spot prices) were issued over the last month in India. This compares is 4.9 million CERs that were issued globally.The monthly comparison of CERs issued in India and globally is as follows.

Projects Registered

3 new CDM projects were registered in India last month with a potential of generating 92,570 CERs annually. This compares to a total of 30 globalprojects that were registered in the same time frame which have a potential of generating 3.34 million CERs annually. Projects from India have continued to be smaller in size.
