This briefing paper outlines the motivation and the initial findings of the Climate Strategies' study which looks at how advancing the innovation process for key technologies through so called Climate Innovation Centres (CICs) can accelerate the necessary low carbon technology transition in developing countries. This will enable them to meet their climate challeges more effectively and efficiently.
