IN THE background of global warming and vital need of creating and maintaining green space, Confederation on Indian Industries (CII) is organizing the ‘National Conference on Green Homes’ on 30th & 31st July, 2010 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
 
There is an urgent need of saving our planet from varied natural disasters and among the initial steps towards this is building green homes, green buildings and thus, increasing green  space.  The two day national conference will see discussions and debates on affordable housing, Architects perspectives on green homes, Energy Efficiency, Landscaping, Rain Water Harvesting and Water Management.
 
The key dignitaries at the inaugural session on 30th July, 2010 will be Prof. Sujata Roy, Minister of State for Urban Development, Government of India, Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency and Dr. Prem C Jain, Chairman of Indian Green Building Council.
 
Various case studies will be discussed and a range of innovative products, equipments and systems will also be produced at the conference.
